A Natural Blonde Redhead

Long before I was assigned to interview Blonde Redhead for a weekly, I was a fan. I was taken by the ruckus of youthful agitation that this experimental rock trio from New York with twin Italian brothers Simone and Amedeo Pace and American/Japanese chanteuse Kazu Makino produced (new album out in April). It’s impossible to miss their fashion sense, especially Makino’s. I’ve come to find out she’s BFF with New York designer Jane Mayle whose clothes I’m crazy for too.My voyeuristic tendencies were thrilled by the February 2007 issue of Domino Magazine—it takes readers inside the home of Amedeo and Kazu and shows us around.
